Peter Kay (Actor, Director), Karl Lucas (Actor) Rated: Suitable for 15 years and over Format: DVD Britain’s Got the Pop Factor : A Breath of Fresh Air

Such a mickey take of x factor.

A very astute and almost believable send up of shows such as xfactor & pop idol etc. From peter kay at his funniest and worryingly believable as a ‘glamorous’ version of susan boyle. This contains all the elements of these types of talent shows in wonderful satirical detail and had me in stitches. I found the whole show wonderful fun and in the best traditions of british satirical comedy.

If you don’t laugh, love it.

Loved this when it was on a few years ago. Not normally that mad on peter kay but it was such a clever spoof of all those naff talent shows of recent years that i couldn’t resist. This dvd has all the build up show and then the results one too, as well as the christmas song video, and runs about 2.

  • Brilliant Fun Satire !
  • A Breath of Fresh Air
  • Great service, great DVD

Peter kay manages to encapsulate everything that is tacky and noxious about reality tv at its worse.

Peter kay has struck gold with this spoof of the reality tv shows. It takes the micky out of every element of the shows from auditions, the soppy back-stories and even the song choices, and getting the original pop idol judges topped it off brilliantlya must see – whether you love or hate the x factorhighly recommended.

Never fails to amuse, have lots of his dvd’s. All excellent top comedy, appeals to all ages cheers you up no end, well done peter.

This is one of the funniest things i have ever seen just love peter kay.

If you are a sucker for a parody nailed down with painstaking observation and panache, and this one is way overdue, then you will share my delight in peter kay’s merciless reflection of what passes for compassion in the moral maze which is popular culture. If it doesnt get your vote, martians have probably already feasted on your soul.

Worth buying for peter kay fans.

Worth a watch but not up to peters usual standard.

This is fantastic and worth every penny . I have watched it over and over again it is so funny. I would buy this for anyone as it makes a great gift.

We had already watched this programme on the tv and the wife wanted a copy and who could argue at the price, although we have seen this several times now it still brings forth a good laugh.

Peter kaye at his best so funny.

At a time when there are so many ridiculous things being shown on tv, a time when we get nearer and nearer to richard bachman’s ‘the long walk’- and ‘the running man’-type pseudo-reality tv shows that know no bounds; shows in which people are encouraged to trade what little dignity they once had for a pay cheque and 15 minutes of painfully acquired fame, peter kay takes this horror and masterfully pokes a finger at the entire genre managing to create a beautifully absurd satire.

What a lovely fun dvd for all the family. Great price so value for money. Will definately be using this site again.

All gabor footwear are very comfy & stylish.

Purchased as a reward for my husband or wife who experienced by no means seen it. If you might be a peter kay enthusiast, then it is a ought to.

Pure comedian briliance from start off to finish.

For a little bit of light amusement and a fantastic tummy snicker, check out this.
